SV everyday saturday | 2013 Lagoon 450F
$479,000
We’re Brandon & Amber—aka @everydaysaturday on Instagram, Facebook, Tiktok, and Youtube, where we’ve shared our full time boat life journey as a family of six. After four unforgettable years, over 16,000 nautical miles, and 21 countries, the time has come for our next chapter—and for this incredible boat to begin hers with the next family.
Our Lagoon 450F has been more than a boat—it’s been home. And honestly? We’d choose her all over again in a heartbeat. We’ve poured our hearts and souls into keeping her ready, comfortable, and fully outfitted for long-term cruising. Refit and upgrades have amounted to $110,000. We’ve done it all…so you don’t have to.
She’s never been chartered. Never in a hurricane. Never had an insurance claim. Always family owned. And, she’s 100% off-grid ready (we know everyone says that and it’s rarely true, but you’ll find she truly is!).
We’ve always viewed ourselves as her stewards—caring for her so she’d be maintained and ready for the next people she carries into the blue water. The best boats are the ones that have been actively lived on and continually maintained—and this is exactly that. A true family cruising catamaran. No costly refits. No big projects. Tons of spares, backups, and redundancies.
Just provision, step aboard, and sail away.

🛠 Vessel Overview
-
4 Cabin Version
The best layout for families! Don’t mistake this for a “charter version”. When the first family ordered it they wanted a 4 cabin model so it has some unique live-aboard features that charter versions do not have, like extra storage. We use one shower for a pantry space and installed a deep freezer in another (a huge upgrade for storing loads of frozen food).
-
Engines
Yanmar 54HP 4JH5E
Port: 3,130 hours Starboard: 3,127 hours
Oil and filters have been changed religiously at manufacturer-recommended intervals. Both engine rooms are clean, dry, and show no corrosion—a reflection of careful ownership and preventative maintenance. -
Solar & Electrical
This boat is truly off-grid ready, powered by 3,000W of solar and a 1,000Ah lithium battery bank. Built with premium Victron hardware and Battle Born batteries, the system can run everything onboard—including air conditioning and major appliances—without ever plugging into shore power.
-
Generator
Equipped with a powerful Onan 11kW generator (only 3,120 hours), this boat has all the backup energy you’ll ever need. It runs quietly, reliably, and powers every major system onboard—perfect for times when the weather doesn’t cooperate with solar or you need some extended air conditioning time. Clean and corrosion free!
-
Tender & Outboard
Comes with a 2023 Highfield 380 Classic aluminum RIB ($8400) and a 2022 Suzuki 25hp 3cyl outboard ($4000). This oversized tender planes easily with 6-8 people and gear—ideal for all day exploring & provisioning. It’s your second vehicle, as important as the boat, and it’s a good one. Custom protective chaps added 2024.
-
Watermaker - 30GPH
Equipped with a Desolater Duo 100 with both AC and DC motors for redundancy. Completely overhauled in 2023 with a new high-pressure pump, membranes, and all new hoses. This system is built for serious cruising and should deliver years of reliable, self-sufficient water production.

We’ve shared hundreds of posts and videos over the years showing how this boat sails, how we’ve maintained it, and the upgrades we’ve made along the way. Take a deep dive into our instagram to find more info than you’ll ever find on your next boat! Here’s a few reels worth watching:
Our favorite upgrades
The galley was truly a labor of love. Amber’s passion for food and cooking inspired a full refit—transforming the space into a bright, functional, and genuinely enjoyable place to cook. It’s one of the upgrades that makes SV everyday saturday a one-of-a-kind Lagoon 450.
The engineered marble countertops bring a clean, modern feel with bright white surfaces that open up the space. We extended them a couple inches to add more counter space than stock. We installed a large basin sink paired with a smaller drying sink, an efficient induction cooktop (with a backup still in the box for redundancy), and added ample storage throughout.
Cooking is a massive part of what makes a great boat life experience and this very practical and workable galley makes that possible.
the galley
This vessel is fully off-grid capable, powered by a top-tier suite of Victron hardware and industry-leading components throughout. She’s equipped with 3,000 watts of bifacial solar mounted to a massive stern solar arch. This not only gives the panels the best unshaded view of the sun all day, but also makes an incredible “patio cover” to keep the elements out of the cockpit. The solar is routed through Victron MPPT controllers, charging a massive 1,000Ah lithium battery bank made up of trusted USA-made Battle Born Batteries.
At the core of the system is a powerful 5kW Victron Quattro Inverter/Charger, giving you seamless power to all onboard systems. The entire boat has been wired to run exclusively off the inverter if desired—including the air conditioning, washer/dryer, watermaker, water heater, induction cooktop, electric oven, and more. Shore power optional—this boat runs anywhere. We often go weeks without needing the generator, though we do start it about once a week just to keep it exercised.
The Victron Cerbo is the brain that ties it all together. It lets us monitor every detail of our power usage from the Victron GX Touch 50 display or directly from our phones. And thanks to Starlink, we can even check in from anywhere in the world when we’re away from the boat.
So what’s a normal day look like with batteries and solar? We wake up with 60-70% charge and get to about 85% by 11-noonish. Then I turn on the water maker for a couple hours to top the tanks off (still charging even with water maker running). Then the water heater for 45 minutes if needed. By mid afternoon we’re ALWAYS charged to 100%.
off-grid electrical
Affectionately known as “the office,” the flybridge is hands-down one of the best features of the Lagoon 450F. It’s always the crowd favorite when we have guests or fellow cruisers onboard!
We chose this model after realizing most helm seats on similar-sized cats could only fit 2-3 people max—this one can fit our entire family, comfortably. To maximize its comfort, we added a custom oversized fiberglass hardtop bimini, turning the flybridge into a true all-weather space. Whether you’re underway or anchored out, it functions like a second living room—catching the breeze, soaking up the view, and giving you full 360° visibility from the helm. It’s equal parts lounge, lookout, and command center; another room in the house!
Between the helm seating and the oversized lounge pad up top, there’s plenty of room for the whole crew—and then some. It’s one of the most social spots on the boat, perfect for morning coffee, sunset sundowners, or just relaxing together under sail. This upper space is a big part of why the Lagoon 450F offers one of the best space-to-value ratios among 45–50 ft catamarans.

📋 additional information
Recent survey: A full out-of-water survey was completed on October 11, 2024, by Nigel Peters of CrossTree Marine while the boat was hauled in Grenada. Nigel is a well-known and respected marine surveyor in the Eastern Carribean. A copy of the survey is available to serious buyers upon request.
Location & logistics: We are currently living on the boat and in Beaufort, NC for the next 1-2 weeks. Then we’ll move around into the Chesapeake Bay/Virginia to get her out of the hurricane zone for the season. However, our plans can be flexible depending on buyer situation/desires and we are prepared to move off ASAP if needed OR can relocate the boat somewhere in the Chesapeake Bay for buyers desired storage or move-on location.
Bulkhead reinforcement: The Lagoon-issued bulkhead reinforcement was professionally completed by an authorized Lagoon service facility. We have the official Lagoon certification in hand, along with photos showing the process—including clear shots of the exposed bulkheads, which were in good condition prior to the reinforcement.
This work was done proactively and by the book as soon as Lagoon issued the recall, so the next owners can sail confidently knowing this common concern has been fully addressed. We’d sail this boat across an ocean tomorrow!
What our fellow cruisers say…
-
Everyday Saturday is one of the best-maintained boats I’ve seen. We’ve cruised thousands of miles together over 3+ years, and I’ve watched Brandon spray down every inch after every passage—burning through more fresh water than we’d use in two weeks—just to keep salt off and prevent corrosion. I tease him for it, but it’s a perfect example of how meticulously he cares for this boat.

We've known the Morse family for a couple of years now through the Lagoon 450 owners group, and his knowledge of this boat is next level. He’s helped me and lots others troubleshoot countless issues, big and small. I've been aboard everyday saturday and can confirm it's been VERY well cared for. And can also confirm Amber is a very good boat chef. Lol.

Brandon and I hauled our boats out together in 2022 and worked together to complete both of our upgrades. I can attest that he is VERY detail oriented...let's just call him what he is, anal and OCD, about taking care of his boat. He's also a very good sailor and has taught me a few things over the years! I can't recommend this family or their boat enough.

Why we chose the Lagoon 450F
Three words: versatility, space, and sailability.
The Lagoon 450 nails all three. Its size often flies under the radar because people assume “450” means it’s just a 45-foot boat, lumping it in with others like the Leopard 45 or Helia 44. But the reality? The Lagoon 450 is 45 feet 10 inches long—basically a 46-foot catamaran. And here’s the kicker: it’s even a full foot wider than the popular Leopard 46.
When you compare the beam (width), the 450 comes in nearly 1 foot 6 inches wider than anything else in the 45-foot class. That added width, stretched across the full length of the boat, translates to a massive amount of extra space—saloon, cockpit, storage, heads, showers, deck… it all feels bigger, because it is. All that coupled with the very practical use of the flybridge deck space and you have the most versatile and spacious boat in its class. It’s the boat that becomes the go-to for all your buddy boat hangs and dinner gatherings!
That wider footprint also means more comfort at sea. She’s stable, spacious, and surprisingly smooth under sail. And speaking of sailing: the Lagoon 450 sails just as well—if not better—than most of its peers. It’s a cruiser’s boat through and through, with great handling and a layout that makes passagemaking feel effortless.
Oh, and here’s something most people overlook: the 450 draws just 4.3 feet. That’s shallower than most other boats in its category, which means you can tuck into those dreamy anchorages that others can’t reach.
There’s a reason (actually, lots of them) why the Lagoon 450 is one of the most popular and produced cruising catamarans in the world. And the bonus of that is the Lagoon 450 Owners Facebook group. There’s over 3000 owners who have been collaborating for years, asking/answering questions, and helping each other out. It’s an incredible resource!
